Colter Lewis is a boutique investment advisory firm built on 120 years of financial industry leadership and risk management experience. Colter Lewis is differentiated in the wealth management and family office universe due to our particular backgrounds and experiences. We built Colter Lewis to address the complex investment needs of sophisticated and knowledgeable families. In effect, we built a firm where we would want to be clients ourselves. Our team’s background is in investment banking and asset management. We are not and have not been brokers, but a team of very experienced financial executives who have managed large financial businesses where we originated the stocks, bonds, loans, and derivatives that asset managers purchased. We have also been responsible for managing risk, including multi-billion underwritings, and have advised boards of directors on their most important strategic objectives. We have been investing, especially in private equity, private credit, real estate, and other alternative asset classes, for decades. We formed Colter Lewis when we realized that sophisticated investors were not well served by money center brokerage firms and private banks, and needed customized advice from peers who are aligned with them, invest alongside them and are conflict free, every step of the way.

Colter Lewis Investment Partners LLC is pleased to announce that Laura Farrelly has joined us as a Managing Director with client coverage responsibilities. Laura is a CFA Charterholder and has spent 15 years in wealth management. She joins us most recently from Merrill Lynch, where she was a Senior Relationship Manager in the Greenwich office for almost five years. Prior to Merrill, she spent 10 years at Algonquin Advisors, which is now a part of Cerity Partners. Laura is active in the community and is a Board Member of the Fairfield County Community Foundation where she also is the Steering Committee Chair for the Fund for Women & Girls. She is a graduate of Davidson College. We have known Laura since her days at Algonquin, an RIA also focused on sophisticated and experienced families.
