A few months after starting my first business at 16 years old, I called my mom one day with conviction saying "I know what I want to do with my life... I want to be an entrepreneur." If you asked me then how it would happen I would've told you I was going to college for a year, then I'd drop out to start the next Apple like Steve Jobs ?? It didn't quite play out that way, but we made it still! I'm just here to continue making that kid's dreams come true.

This moment was a huge milestone for our chapter, reaffirming why representation in spaces like AfroTech matters so much.
