The future of live, symphonic music. The Colorado Symphony Association is the region's only full-time professional orchestra committed to artistic excellence and ensuring the future of live, symphonic music. Performing over 150 concerts annually at Boettcher Concert Hall in downtown Denver and across Colorado, your Colorado Symphony is home to eighty full-time musicians, representing more than a dozen nations, and regularly welcomes the most celebrated artists from all genres of music. Originally established in 1989 as the successor to the Denver Symphony, the Colorado Symphony thrives on a spirit of collaboration among musicians, staff, trustees and the community. The Colorado Symphony performs in Boettcher Concert Hall and On Location throughout the state and region with small ensembles to the full-sized orchestra. Programs include education and outreach initiatives, and concert series for all types of listeners, including Classics, Symphony Pops, Holiday, Family, Listen/Hear, Movie at the Symphony, Musicurious Education Programs, and more. The Colorado Symphony and the Bayerische Philharmonie have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) as part of the City2City Munich-Denver Economic Partnership, which was announced at the opening ceremony of this year's Denver Christkindlmarket. The joint purpose of the MOU is to promote cutting-edge international musical exchange aimed at promoting and demonstrating the relevance of classical music on both sides of the Atlantic. The collaboration will begin on January 1, 2025. Special thanks to the German American Cultural Foundation, Denver Economic Development & Opportunity, Chadwick V.R. Award-winner Cynthia Erivo will be headlining our Frontier Gala Benefit Concert on May 10, 2025 at Boettcher Concert Hall. This special benefit concert is part of the Symphony's largest annual fundraising event — the 2025 Colorado Symphony Frontier Gala. The price of each ticket includes a $25 tax-deductible donation — contributing directly to the Colorado Symphony's mission of ensuring the future of live, symphonic music with innovative and diverse programming, educational and outreach initiatives, renowned guest artists, and revered symphonic works.
