The Colorado Staffing Association PROUDLY announces that our Adrian Dominguez, CSP, 2024 Communications Chair/2019-2023 Board President,?earned the title of Denver Business Journal's Most Admired CEOs of 2024! Out of hundreds of comprehensive applications that were submitted, a panel of judges selected only 20 winners.?We are especially honored that Adrian and his firm, ROLINC Staffing & Search,?was the ONLY staffing/recruiting company represented at this prestigious event. Adrian shared one of his key takeaways of the evening included that a CEO must TAKE RISKS, be VULNERABLE, and realize that the a CEO’s mission is NOT about one’s self, but those following his/her lead, as their lives and livelihood are affected by every decision. Not only was CSA praised for winning in all four major categories for state associations in 2024 that are a part of the American Staffing Association, but we also got a few honorable mentions as well for leading the way in regards to our involvement with some of the legislative issues of our day, including, but not limited to addressing misclassification of 1099 workers, and for partnering with the city of Denver’s auditors team! ?? Celebrating National Workforce Development Month & Manufacturing Month! ??? As Board Chair of Arapahoe/Douglas Works!, I'm proud to recognize September as National Workforce Development Month and October as National Manufacturing Month. Manufacturing is a critical driver of our local economy, contributing millions and playing a key role in our community's success. However, like many industries, manufacturing faces a talent shortage. That's why apprenticeship programs are essential to developing the next generation of skilled workers. I'm thrilled to highlight the efforts of companies like Accurate Machining of Denver and A & L Machining Inc, which are actively using apprenticeship programs to grow their workforce. As the Workforce Chair for the Rocky Mountain NTMA we've partnered with the U.S. Department of Labor to create an approved apprenticeship program for CNC machinists and Quality Technicians. This program is designed not only to bring new talent into the industry but also to upskill existing employees to meet the evolving demands of the market. A huge shoutout to Arapahoe/Douglas Works! and the Colorado Apprenticeship Hub for their incredible support in developing this program. These resources are FREE, and I highly encourage businesses to reach out and explore how apprenticeship and training programs can benefit your organization.
