OeHI has been on the move having fun this week! ?? Here's what we've been up to: ?? On Tuesday, our highly esteemed Director, Stephanie Pugliese, attended the 2024 Colorado State of Reform Health Policy Conference and spoke on a panel along with other state public health partners to talk about Using Data to Coordinate Care Across Populations. ?? Wednesday, we had the absolute pleasure of having Lucy Orr-Ewing, Chief of Staff and Head of Policy at Coalition for Health AI (CHAI) speak to public health lovers about AI in healthcare and how CHAI and their partners are revolutionizing the health AI space. Thank you so much, Lucy! ?? We also decided to step away from our screens for a few hours for some much needed and well-deserved team time at Holey Moley-Denver. We highly recommend giving them a visit. The hospitality and fun was top notch! ?? Thursday, we attended the Colorado Health Innovation Summit hosted by Prime Health. It's always refreshing hearing how so many teams across Colorado are pressing on towards the goal of health equity in our great state. Stephanie Pugliese was also able to share about our Colorado Health IT Roadmap journey and provide some updates about where we are currently. ?? Thursday evening, our phenomenal Deputy Director, Karen Shimamoto, MPH, and genius Senior Project Manager for SHIE, Matt Arment, presented at the Colorado HIMSS Global Health Equity Week Event at Top Golf. They were able to share about our SHIE initiative and our Health IT Roadmap. Thank you to all who contributed to our week. We are so grateful for all of our partners and community who keep us on our toes.

Friendly reminder that the deadline to submit an RFA for the Regional SHIE Hubs Request for Applications Funding Opportunity is next Friday, November 1st. This funding opportunity awards Proof of Concept Projects to build Regional SHIE Hubs that use technology to connect Medicaid members to social care services and supports. It also awards organizations to offset technology costs through the optional Supplemental Funding for Technology Start-up Costs track in partnership with the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE). ? Proof of concept projects must support Medicaid members and be focused on one of the following priority use cases: ? Building community partnerships to support individuals with disabilities. ? Connecting individuals to safe, affordable housing. ? Reducing barriers to care for individuals navigating substance use disorder. ?
