The Colorado Chamber and business leaders across the state are raising concerns about proposed changes to the Labor Peace Act, which regulates collective bargaining agreements. These changes could undermine the balance between workers' rights and a healthy business climate in Colorado. “We were disappointed to only learn yesterday about an upcoming bill that would repeal major provisions of the Labor Peace Act,” said Colorado Chamber President and CEO Loren Furman. “Colorado’s carefully crafted labor laws promote fair policies for workers while allowing for a healthy economic climate for business... Loren leads the Chamber with a focus on advancing Colorado’s business community and fostering a strong, collaborative team. She’s especially proud of the progress the Chamber has made in launching new initiatives and events that celebrate Colorado’s incredible businesses and workforce. Outside of work, Loren loves traveling, skiing, playing tennis and pickleball, and enjoying the outdoors with her husband, Danny. One of her favorite Colorado spots is Beaver Creek, where she and Danny tied the knot and continue to enjoy all the area has to offer. Congratulations to our endorsed candidates on their victories in the 2024 General Election! So far, 93% of the Colorado Chamber-supported candidates have been successful, with a few races still too close to call, including House District 16, House District 50 and Senate District 12.
