Community, connection, and a little two-step! Color Vision is bringing people together for Boots on the Ground, a night of line dancing, joy, and movement at Girl Fit Studios on April 17th. Whether you’re a pro or just learning the steps, this is your chance to have fun, let loose, and share in the power of community. We believe that showing up for each other can look like a networking event, a business workshop, or even a night on the dance floor. However you choose to move, we hope you’ll join us. https://lnkd.in/eJ6ggbNq See you there! #BootsOnTheGround #ColorVisionEvents #CommunityMatters

During a recent interview, Abbott Elementary star Tyler James Williams shared how Quinta Brunson personally reached out to him, saying she had a role written just for him. At the time, during the height of the pandemic, many actors, including himself, were searching for opportunities, uncertain about what was next. Amidst all the chaos, he had no idea that someone was already building something with him in mind. This is a powerful reminder that opportunities are often being shaped for us even when we can’t see them. The work we put in, the relationships we build, and the impact we make today can lead to doors opening in ways we never expected. #WhatsForYou #TrustTheProcess #DivineTiming #ColorVisionCreates

It’s always disappointing to see a powerful voice in media silenced, and today, we stand in solidarity with Joy Reid as news breaks about the cancellation of The ReidOut. Throughout her career, Joy has been a trailblazer, bringing critical conversations to the forefront, elevating underrepresented voices, and challenging narratives that too often go unquestioned. Her impact is undeniable, and while this chapter may be closing, we know her story is far from over. The media industry has never been an easy space for women, especially Black women. But time and time again, we’ve seen them rise, rebuild, and reclaim their voices. Tamron Hall, Soledad O’Brien, Jemele Hill, and countless others have shown that resilience in action—and we know Joy Reid will do the same. At Color Vision, we celebrate the bold voices who break barriers and shape the future of media. While we are heartbroken to see The ReidOut come to an end, we are also excited to see what Joy does next because we have no doubt she will continue to make history. #WeStandWithJoy #BlackWomenInMedia #Resilience #ColorVision
