This is devastating. No child should ever feel so alone, unheard, and unprotected that they believe the only escape is to take their own life. Jocelynn Carranza deserved better! Every child does. This isn’t just about one school district—it’s about a systemic failure that starts at the top and trickles down into our communities. When leadership (shameful) normalizes cruelty, indifference, and a culture of silence, it sends a clear message: suffering is acceptable. We must do better. We must create a world where no child fears walking into school, where bullying isn’t dismissed, and where every cry for help is met with action, not excuses. Enough is enough.
