Mr. Vargas received his Bachelor’s degree, Cum Laude, from the University of Florida and his J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School. Mr. Vargas began his law career in New York City, where he worked at the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office.?? Inspired by his own history as an immigrant from Colombia and his desire to help people, Mr. Vargas decided to pursue immigration law at Colombo & Hurd, focusing on employment-based petitions including EB-2 National Interest Waivers as well as EB-1a Visas.? We recognize that throughout American history, foreign-born individuals have played pivotal roles in forging the country's military strength.? We believe that supporting immigration brings unique perspectives, skills, experiences, and cultural diversity to our country and our military. By embracing immigrant service members, the United States reinforces its military's capabilities and fortifies its national security. Colombo & Hurd is pleased to announce that attorney Jean Paul Castro recently attended the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) Central Florida Chapter 38th Annual Immigration Conference, where he shared insights on the EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) Visa and other employment-based immigration topics. ?
