Marvella 2190: Expansion is now open and welcoming residents! This LEED-certified expansion adds 125 independent living apartments designed with open floor plans, high-end finishes, and thoughtful touches, including quartz countertops, walk-in closets, and private decks. Thanks to the Collins crew that worked alongside @RyanCompaniesUS and @PresbyterianHomes to bring this beautiful community to life. 

Big changes in downtown Minneapolis! Northstar Center East (an office building back in 1917) has been reimagined as Groove Lofts—a 217-unit residential community. Collins proudly partnered with Kraus-Anderson on this office-to-residential conversion, delivering all the latest in smart home technology while preserving the building’s historic charm.  

Collins is pleased to welcome new electrical estimator Sebastian Cordero to the team. Sebastian joins Collins after recently obtaining his electrical engineering degree from the University of Minnesota. Before coming to Minnesota, Sebastian lived in Costa Rica, where he played golf for the Costa Rican National Team and was National Champion three years in a row! Sebastian is pictured below with his dad (Rodrigo), mom (Karla), and little sister (Emma). Welcome to Collins, Sebastian!

Congratulations to John Kovacs on his recent retirement from Collins. Thank you for almost 30 years of hard work and dedication! John is pictured below with Collins president, Jared Hawkinson.

Meet Lucas Dougherty, our new design intern!  A student at Dunwoody College of Technology, Lucas is already making an impact by supporting our design team with submittals and design projects. When he isn’t at Collins, Lucas enjoys golfing, playing volleyball, and spending time with his girlfriend, Kya. Welcome to the team, Lucas! 

Our thanks to Frana Companies Inc. for selecting Collins as the electrical contractor for the Landmark Tower project. Amenities for these luxury housing units include a rooftop patio, a technology lounge, a golf simulator, and more.
