The Connecticut Air National Guard took delivery last week of their first C-130H modernized with our NP2000 propeller system. The commemoration took place at the 103rd Airlift Wing, across from our Windsor Locks facility where the NP2000 propellers are assembled. In recognition of our continued support for the U.S. Armed Forces, Collins Aerospace was presented with the Patriot Award from the Office of the Secretary of Defense. The facility at Windsor Locks is proud to employ over 300 active and retired service members, including many in the Connecticut National Guard. We value the unique skills and leadership that service members bring to our workforce and remain committed to supporting those who serve our country. Thank you to Governor Ned Lamont, Senator Richard Blumenthal, Congressman Joe Courtney, Congressman John Larson, Major General Francis Evon, and Colonel Neal Byrne for attending and speaking at this milestone event. Collins Aerospace has completed prototype development of a solid-state power controller and power distribution panel for the Clean Aviation SWITCH project.
