Meet Teresa Seidel, RPLS, our Survey/Geospatial Discipline Leader who brings over four decades of industry expertise since beginning her career in 1983. Teresa followed in her father's footsteps in the AEC field and worked alongside him during summers, which inspired her to pursue her own path in the industry. Though she started at a civil engineering company, Teresa was always drawn to surveying, even when facing significant barriers as a woman in a predominantly male field. Despite these challenges, she earned her professional registration at a time when there were only ten registered women surveyors in the entire state of Texas. Her advice to young women entering the surveying profession? "Make up your mind that you can do it.
