Today we welcomed Randy Glover from Alpha Elevator Control to our facility. He provided inhouse training on their cutting-edge non-proprietary controllers. During the presentation, each mechanic was able to utilize a touch screen simulator as Randy walked through highlights. At Colley, we believe our greatest asset is people and we're committed to giving our mechanics the tools they need to succeed! The continuing education session will help them troubleshoot in the field and keep any downtime to a minimum.

We are saddened to see the extent of damage caused by the ongoing California wildfires. Bah Humbug! Don't get us wrong - we are 100% on board with any item that makes elevators safer. However we foresee a lot of headaches as door lock monitoring gets implemented. Door lock monitoring will not only be required for all new installations, but there is no grandfathering on older elevators. This particular change is one we'll be following, and discussing, long after the holidays! https://lnkd.in/gMFRJRJh
