Happy Radiological Technology (Rad Tech) Week! Rad Tech Week is celebrated annually the week of November 8 to commemorate the discovery of the x-ray by Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen on November 8, 1895. Just as Roentgen discovered the x-ray 129 years ago, today, our care team relies on the expertise of our imaging team to paint the picture often necessary to accurately diagnose our patients. Thank you for “radiating” excellence in all that you do.

Our annual Breast Cancer Survivors Breakfast is the one event we love having low attendance. The annual breakfast gives us pause to pray for those we've lost to cancer and for those still battling, as well as the opportunity to celebrate with team members who beat cancer... because Caring Like Family means Celebrating Like Family. #CareLikeFamily #WeShowUp

This is why Colleton Medical Center is teaming up with the Walterboro Police Department and Colleton-County Sheriffs-Office to #CrushTheCrisis on Saturday, October 26, in support of the DEA's National Prescription Drug Take Back Day. Together, we can help reverse the trend of prescription drug misuse. #TakeBackDay #BetterTogether #WeShowUp

Today, and every day, we remember the lives we lost on Sept. 11, 2001, their families, and the survivors who witnessed it all. Alongside our HCA Healthcare family, we pause to honor the brave actions of our first responders and everyday citizens who selflessly and courageously fought back. We remember, always. #NeverForget #PatriotDay
