Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization a 501 (c) (3) not for profit charitable corporation, founded in 1983, supports more than 16,500 emerging collegiate entrepreneurs annually. CEO believes that any student, regardless of academic discipline can launch a business. Through our global network of more than 250 college and university chapters, we support and inspire the growth and development of any student that seeks to be entrepreneurial. CEO practices a mantra of “Stop Dreaming and Start Doing”. At our Global and Regional Conferences students network with like-minded entrepreneurs, meet and receive mentorship from seasoned experts, and compete in business competitions. On our campuses, programming exposes every student on campus to a viable path to becoming an entrepreneur. Authenticity is the currency of the future. I believe in being transparent and authentic—it’s the foundation of building any relationship worth having. So, if you have a moment, I’d love to share something with you. Over the years, I’ve had conversations with incredible people, mentioned the Collegiate Entrepreneurs’ Organization, and heard, “Oh, I was part of CEO in college!” I’m always curious to learn what it was like for them—whether it was 10 years ago or 30. Then comes the question, often asked with the same tone as inquiring about a sick relative: “How is that going?” I respond by saying, “It’s going really well,” and then we talk about the pitch competition and our recent conference. That conversation often leads to who won and, inevitably, to just how impressive this next generation of entrepreneurs truly is. These moments made me realize two things: 1?? There are so many alumni we don’t know about. 2?? They’ve been separated from CEO for too long and our current students. That’s why we launched CEO Honors—to reconnect with and highlight our successful alumni while letting them know we’re here, ready to involve them in shaping the next generation of entrepreneurs. ??
