“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” - Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. ? Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. changed the world for the African American Community, his words “I have a dream” echo to this day. He taught us that the fight for equality and justice is not an option but an obligation, he shattered barriers that we today have the ability to take advantage of.? ? For Collegiate Black Men, his legacy is the standard, a reminder that our strength lies not just in our individual success but in the collective progress of our community. We honor him by standing united, demanding justice, and creating opportunities for the next generation to dream and dream big.?

Last Friday, I had the opportunity to tour Amazon's 2nd Headquarters in Arlington, VA with Collegiate Black Men at George Mason University. It was an incredible experience that provided valuable insights into the professional world of tech.?? I'm grateful for the chance to meet and learn from amazing professionals like Michael Hoggard, Courtney Stovall, Garrison A. Best, and Jo?l Alexander. Their advice and perspectives were truly invaluable. I also had the pleasure of networking with many other talented Amazon employees throughout the day.?? The tour of the beautiful HQ2 facility was truly enlightening, offering a glimpse into the innovative environment that drives one of the world's leading tech companies. ?? I want to express my sincere appreciation to Amazon Web Services (AWS) for hosting this incredible event. The dedication and openness of all the employees who shared their knowledge, experiences, and insights with us have made a profound impact. ?? #AmazonHQ2 #CareerDevelopment #Networking #TechIndustry #CollegiateBlackMen #AWS

?? Last Friday, I had the incredible opportunity to visit the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Headquarters with Collegiate Black Men – The only thing I can say is wow! ?? It was inspiring to witness firsthand how Amazon Web Services is driving innovation and shaping the future of cloud technology. Being surrounded by some of the most creative minds in the technology industry was truly inspiring. The energy, collaboration, and forward-thinking mindset at AWS HQ were truly empowering. ?? This visit, alongside such a talented and motivated group, has not only broadened my perspective on cloud solutions but also reaffirmed the importance of community and representation in tech. I’m very excited to bring this newfound inspiration back to George Mason University with me and continue pushing my own personal limits as I continue down my cybersecurity journey.?? A huge shoutout goes out to Andrew Torrence, Chaz Wilder and the other AWS representatives that made this visit possible. #Innovation #CloudComputing #AWS #TechLeadership #CollegiateBlackMen #FutureOfTech
