We're sharing our heartfelt gratitude to the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation and its partners Bader Philanthropies, Inc. and Brown County United Way for awarding a Nonprofit Impact Initiative capacity building #grant to CollegeReady! This funding allows us to implement an amazing new academic platform for our NEW Scholars college readiness program, which will help our staff communicate and stay connected with our families, organize our students as they complete their work in the classroom, and keep our parents informed on their children's progress in the program. CollegeReady: Creating Hope and Brighter Futures for Local Students | Through scholarships and college readiness programming, CollegeReady (previously Scholarships, Inc.) provides financial assistance and encouragement to local students as they explore higher education opportunities. We are a nonprofit organization funded by forward-thinking donors and supported by a diverse group of community volunteers and champions. The organization has awarded over $12 million in scholarships to thousands of students in Wisconsin's Brown and Door Counties, and through its college readiness program – NEW Scholars – provides opportunities for low-income students in Green Bay who have a desire to be the first in their family to graduate from college, but lack the understanding and resources to attend.

While giving a presentation (admittedly it was a small audience), I got to be a Career Coach for a little and talk to a nervous senior about everything that needs to happen during this year. Here are the highlights: ? Senior year is ???????????????????????, let's acknowledge that. ????? ? Enjoy your lasts! (Last homecoming, last spirit week, last prom, etc.) ? The first step is to make a choice and apply ?? . Once you apply you are entered into a communication flow that will remind you of next steps!! ?? ? Start working on ??scholarships?? e?a?r?l?y? ?a?n?d? ?o?f?t?e?n?. Check with your school for a list of verified scholarships to make the task less daunting. ? FAFSA is ?????????????????? but a necessary headache! ?? Find resources to help you complete the application. ? Connect with your admissions advisor! They are also invested in getting you into college. ?? ? Above all: Ask???? for???? help????!!!
