Meet Ehlah, a student at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. As a first-generation college student, Ehlah knew that college was the key to her future. But navigating the path to higher education wasn't easy. That's where College Possible Minnesota came in. "College Possible was there to help me with ACT prep, applying to colleges and finding scholarships. Without them, I wouldn’t have been able to apply to as many schools or prepare for the ACTs. My coach helped me apply to five colleges, and without that support, I wouldn’t have known what to do,” Ehlah shares. Today, Ehlah is pursuing a major in developmental psychology at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. As Featured in the The Wall Street Journal: College Possible’s Critical Role in Helping Students Navigate the FAFSA The 2024-2025 FAFSA application has been improved, but many students are still running into glitches. While the U.S. Department of Education has made updates, issues persist, especially for students with undocumented parents or international schooling backgrounds. In this The Wall Street Journal article, College Possible Minnesota was highlighted for its efforts in assisting students with FAFSA completion, especially after the troubled rollout last year. For example, in Minnesota, 40 out of 60 families were able to successfully submit their FAFSA — a significant jump from earlier in the year when only 3 out of 40 could finish it in one sitting. College Possible is proud to support students and families, ensuring they can access the financial aid they need to pursue higher education. ??
