At 02:30 a.m. on July 5th, Truck 12 ran as the third due special service to the 9900 block of Doubletree Terrace in Company 6’s first due. First arriving units found fire showing from the roof of the town house. Upon arrival, the outside crew of Truck 12 laddered the Charlie side, Delta side, and Bravo 1 exposure while the inside crew checked for extension in the Bravo 1 exposure. Truck 12 operated for 1 hour before returning to service.

On Monday, July 1st at 17:35, Truck 12 ran as search company to the 7200 block of Carriage Hill Drive. First arriving units reported heavy fire side charlie and through the roof. Upon arrival, Truck 12 threw ladders, confirmed negative extension to the delta exposure, and assisted with exterior extinguishing efforts. Truck 12 was then assigned as the divison 1 supervisor and conducted searches while working with Anne Arundel County rescue engine 27 to extinguish the fire. Truck 12 operated for 2 hours before returning to service.

At 05:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, Engine 123 and Truck 12 ran as first due engine and first due special service to the 5100 block of Berwyn Road for a structure fire.?Ambulance 11 was the first arriving unit and reported smoke coming from a garage in a commercial building. Upon arrival, Truck 12 completed a side Charlie report and was assigned as the Division 1 supervisor, while Engine 123 stretched the 1.75" bumper line through side Alpha to extinguish the fire. Company 12 operated on scene for 3 hours before returning to service.

At 06:05 a.m. on Tuesday, June 25th, Engine 123 was dispatched as the second-due engine to the 4900 block of Kenilworth Ave. While en route, multiple callers reported a building fire in the 5600 block of Kenilworth Ave. Engine 123 was the first arriving unit at the updated address and assumed first-due responsibilities. Upon completion of the 360, Engine 123's officer reported the bulk of the fire coming from side Charlie of one unit from the commercial strip. E123 stretched a 250' line of 2" through the Charlie side and worked with Truck 14 and Rescue Engine 33 to extinguish the fire. E123 operated for 2 hours before returning to service. At 18:15 on the same day, Engine 123 was alerted to respond as the first engine on the second alarm to the 14300 block of Bonnett Ln for the townhome fire. E123 positioned on a nearby street and stretched the 400', 1.75" line through a chainlink fence to side bravo.

Saturday, June 22 was a busy day for Company 12 with over 5 box alarms, 2 working fires, a water rescue, and other service calls. Truck 812 was dispatched as the search company for the structure fire in 55’s area at 05:40 Saturday morning. First arriving companies found fire through the roof. Truck 812 conducted searches on both floors, assisted in opening up for the engine companies, and threw ladders before returning to service.

On Tuesday, June 18th around 18:00, Truck 812 and Ambulance 812 responded First Due for a house fire.?Truck 12 arrived on Scene with Hyattsville Engine 801, to find a two story single family home with a small fire in the basement and first floor.?Truck 12’s crew forced entry, completed searches, and opened up for Engine 1.?All units returned to service within 2 hours.

On the morning of Saturday, June 15th around 0515, Engine 123 was alerted as the second due engine to the reported structure fire in Company 11’s area. First arriving units reported fire through the roof as E123 stretched a line through side Alpha to extinguish the fire. E123 operated for approximately 3 hours before returning to service.
