Last Friday a few players (David Singleton, Daeqwon Plowden, and Dwight Murray Jr.) from our team volunteered to read to a couple of classes at West Clayton Elementary School!

Recently the Skyhawks surprised the teachers at West Clayton Elementary School with a drop-off of classroom supplies! At the beginning of the school year, teachers of West Clayton submitted wish lists for each of their classrooms that included items such as binders, notebooks, art and PE supplies, classroom décor, and more. With the generous help of Walmart, the Skyhawks were able to fulfill this wish list and donate hundreds of supplies to the school.

This past Monday, we had the opportunity to bring teachers from West Clayton Elementary School out to the Atlanta Hawks preseason game against the Philadelphia 76ers!

We are excited to share that our SVP of G League and 2K operations, Janice F. Koon has been announced as a recipient of the TORCH Award at the 2024 RICE Awards. This award is given to individuals who demonstrate keen awareness about community needs and step into the fray, lending a hand and making things better. Congratulations Janice, your service never goes unnoticed!
