College Foundation, Inc. (CFI), a not-for-profit corporation serving North Carolina students and families since 1955, administers a large portfolio of education loans, several major grant scholarship programs for students attending N.C. college and universities, and the tax-free "529" college savings program on behalf of the N.C. Education Assistance Authority. CFI also delivers information to North Carolina students and families about paying for college, assists colleges and universities with financial aid services, and provides technology services to the College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) education partnership.

    College Foundation seeks to establish relationships with experienced, reliable software development partners that can provide a full range of development and support services in various collaborative configurations. Specifically, we are seeking partners that can provide resources -- both in the form of full, autonomous software development project teams and as individual contract (and contract-to-hire) staff to augment and work under the direction of CFI’s existing software development organization. Individual roles needed will include, but not be limited to, software developers, architects, quality assurance engineers, project managers, UX designers, business analysts, and data scientists. Suitable organization will have a well-established track record of successfully delivering large, complex software development projects on time and on (or under!) budget and can provide the full range of development services, from individual contract staff to fully staffed development teams.
