#CoLeadership is the #FutureofLeadership and #sharedleadership is the #futureofwork. Here are 4 reasons Co-Leadership shines in 2024, and one reason why the #TheFutureIsBlack. Reasons why Co-Leadership is doing more in 2024: 1?? ????♀? DEI - Co-Leadership promotes a multi-faceted view of diversity by inherently combining leaders from varied backgrounds, which enriches organizational policies and practices with a broad spectrum of cultural and experiential insights. This structure not only champions diversity at all levels but also actively guards against the dilution of DEI commitments under external pressures, such as political scrutiny or market shifts. 2?? ?? Co-Leaders with diverse backgrounds bring different risk tolerances and perspectives that drive a balanced approach to rapid changes in the political landscape. This variety enhances the organization's capability to swiftly adapt to new regulations or political upheavals, ensuring stability and continuity in dynamic times. 3?? ?? Boosts Advocacy & Alignment: Co-Leadership enables an organization to formulate and express coherent, unified stances on critical social justice issues, which amplifies their influence in policy debates. By presenting aligned views that synthesize the insights of diverse leaders, the organization can engage more effectively with stakeholders and advocate for substantial, impactful changes. 4?? ? Increases public trust: Co-Leadership visibly commits to inclusivity and collaborative problem-solving, which significantly boosts public confidence and organizational reputation. This transparency in leadership intent and action fosters stronger community relations and enhances internal cohesion, which are pivotal during contentious times. 5?? ?? ??? The FUTURE is BLACK. By 2050, when the world is 9.5 Billion humans, Africans in Africa, not counting the diaspora will be 26 % of the world population... at 2.5 billion (Europeans in Europe will be 7.6% ).

Strategies for Collective Liberation: Power-Sharing, Shared Leadership Coaching, Support and Design
关于我们
We help leaders lead together. Recognizing the critical need for innovative leadership paradigms, Collective Struggle Praxis Advisory provides transformation strategies for power-sharing in organizational leadership. By intentionally redesigning structures that govern hierarchy, starting with leadership partnerships, we can help transform the experience of power and authority within our organizational & movement spaces. Our commitment is to creating more inclusive and sustainable leadership models with more opportunities for individuals historically excluded from senior management and executive opportunities particularly, young people, queer trans people, people of color and introverts. We help co-leaders learn to share power and provide cohesive collective leadership. We emphasize building intergenerational partnerships and executive pathways for constituent led organizations. Our work is building a social justice leadership culture based on a generational sustainability practice rooted in "sharing power for growing power" long term. We provide: *Co-Leadership Team Design *Shared&Participatory Team Design *Organizational Restructure to Support Shared Leadership *Executive Mentorship *Organizational Accompaniment (Change of Problem Solving) *Factional/Interim Executive Strategy & Leadership *Co-Leadership Transition Management *Movement Strategy: alignment & convergence Our focus centers co-leadership team design, a tailored process aimed at creating "co-powered" leadership teams by establishing a strong foundation for unified understanding, alignment and action. However Collective Struggle is dedicated to fostering the development of all successful co-leadership models, providing support to organizations in cultivating and maintaining shared leadership structures. #coexecutive #coleadership #distributedleadership #powersharing #sharedpower #organizationaldevelopment #organizationalchange #organizationaltransformation

Our country is who she has always been, and we have to come together and organize with trusted folks to get her to her full potential. I’m scared of the vision that the winner espoused. I’m scared for our babies and the most marginalized. I’m scared for our safety. And still, I refuse to remain in my despair, fear, and grief. I have to lean on the strength of my ancestors. I have to remember what they’ve endured so that I can be here. I will eventually transform my rage into action. But today, I grieve. I wrote this in 2016, and it’s still relevant: https://lnkd.in/gQnGaKpF

I think this is true for LGBTQ people as well, that we learn to minimize our voice, contributions and impact … potentially to minimize the blowback to our presence perhaps … more to ponder there…. Anyways, another good read from Carol Stewart MSc, FIoL

The way you communicate can have an impact on how you are perceived as leaders. If you are prone to using apologetic language, the use of it can undermine your leadership presence, influence, and impact. Using apologetic language can come across as you lacking confidence in your abilities or being uncertain about what you are doing. In this week's newsletter I write about how to overcome it. #ApologeticLanguage #CommunicationSkills #WomenLeaders #IntrovertedLeaders #QuietlyVisible #Podcast
