Reflecting on Year One of COLLECTIVE
As 2024 winds down and with a plan to take a bit of time over the holidays to recharge, I have been reflecting on the incredible journey that has been COLLECTIVE’s first year. Launching a startup is equal parts thrilling and challenging, and this year has been a masterclass in resilience, creativity, and teamwork.
When we launched COLLECTIVE Sports, Media and Events the vision was clear: to bring innovative solutions to the sports and entertainment, events, and hospitality industries with expertise spanning event production, brand consulting, and partnership/sponsorship development. Building something from the ground up is never without its obstacles—market uncertainties, logistical challenges, and the constant push to prove ourselves. But the opportunities and victories were equally extraordinary.
Out of the gate we produced a Halloween event in New York and a nightlife event in Austin. We have been fortunate to work with exceptional partners and clients, including the Hard Rock Hotel New York , Northwood Properties and The Amp, an incredible outdoor concert venue in Charlotte, NC. We have collaborated with Global Green to amplify their mission with an exciting new project which will be fully announced after the New Year , partnered with 4Wall Entertainment to execute industry-leading production solutions, worked with a client in Paris at the 2024 Olympics, had an opportunity to collaborate with London & Partners at a round table in Santa Monica, provided partnership opportunites for the new Deer Valley East, and established a relationship with Right To Play USA to create events with purpose and impact in both New York and Los Angeles. These milestones reflect the diverse range of what we do, from conceptualizing and producing events to driving brand strategy and securing meaningful sponsorships.
At its heart, COLLECTIVE is built on relationships and the power of collaboration. Our team has poured their passion into every project, whether developing creative concepts, executing complex planning, or forging connections that create lasting value for our clients.
This year has reaffirmed the importance of resilience—not as the absence of challenges, but as the ability to learn, adapt, and keep moving forward. I am incredibly proud of what we have achieved and grateful to our clients, partners, and team for trusting in our vision.
I am excited for what is to come—growing our footprint, expanding our capabilities, and continuing to create meaningful experiences.
To anyone considering the leap into entrepreneurship: it is a wild ride, but the rewards make it worth every late night and hard conversation.
So, it is on to 2025 with renewed vigor and an eye on new opportunities and relationships…. Including a full launch into the hospitality and corporate event space.
Wishing you all a restful and joyful holiday season!!
