A huge congratulations to Architectural Designer, Kamry, on completing her first half marathon—and in Rome, no less! Not only was it her debut race, but it was also Rome's first-ever half marathon. Running through cleared streets, she experienced an unforgettable architectural tour of the city, passing six major landmarks, from the start at Circo Massimo to the finish at the Colosseum. Working with The Town of Eaton and Fransen Pittman Construction, Collab Architecture recently wrapped up the renovation and expansion of the historic Eaton Public Library! ?? From modernizing workspaces to creating a fun new outdoor learning area for kids, this project blends the library’s historic charm with updated functionality. We’ve enhanced accessibility, added a cozy staff lounge and workspace, refinished and updated some historic interior finishes, and even made room for a generator to ensure the library remains a reliable community hub during unexpected outages. Making strides at Wild Wing Park Maintenance Facility in Timnath! Collab has been working closely with the Town of Timnath on the design and development of this structure for the park. While this may be a smaller piece of the puzzle, it's a key part of Phase 1 in the park’s master plan, providing restrooms, recreational storage, and maintenance storage. This phase also includes the development of other amenities such as pickleball and basketball courts, sand volleyball, a community garden, an adaptive playground, a pavilion, and more. Zann joined Collab as our most recent intern-turned-employee, bringing a unique blend of practical industry experience and design research expertise. After working in the building industry for six years, she returned to school to earn a degree in Interior Architecture + Design from CSU, where she honed her skills in spatial perception and user experience. She was a CSU student finalist for the 2022 Steelcase NEXT Design Competition and actively contributed as an Undergraduate Research Trainee with two CSU labs, researching ways people interact with spaces. Her passion for creating meaningful spaces that strengthen communities makes her an incredible addition to the team.

Excited to share the conceptual designs for the upcoming 47,472 SF recreational facility at Highland Meadows! Planned to feature five indoor tennis courts, locker rooms, a pro shop, café, and rooftop lounge, the Highland Meadows Tennis Center is designed to elevate the player and spectator experience. Get ready to serve up some fun – this design is an ace in the making! ??

Our team recently gathered at the Hope Springs Development site, an inspiring project we're collaborating on with Greeley-Weld Habitat for Humanity. Principal Architect Jordan Lockner, QA/QC Manager Mick Aller, and Architectural Designers Emily Perkins and Zann Tousignant joined Habitat representatives to explore how 3D-printed homes are transforming affordable housing. Hope Springs will provide over 100 housing opportunities for families in need, offering a mix of single-family, duplex, and multifamily homes designed with modern and transitional aesthetics. Guided by a shared commitment to accessibility and sustainability, the development focuses on creating efficient, cost-effective homes through innovative construction methods like 3D printing. During the site walk, the team reviewed design adjustments tailored to meet the unique parameters of 3D-printed construction, carefully balancing the needs of mid-size families with the technical requirements of the process. This hands-on collaboration provided invaluable insights to refine our design approach for sustainable, affordable housing solutions. Being part of a project that uses forward-thinking techniques like 3D printing to make homeownership more attainable is deeply rewarding. With energy-efficient, zero-ready homes and universal design features, Hope Springs sets a new standard for affordable housing!

Collab Architecture teamed up with?Roche Constructors?to deliver a 13,170 SF retail development at Centerplace in Greeley, Colorado! Bear Paw III is a flexible core & shell design that accommodates up to 5 tenant spaces, and includes a dedicated drive-thru for one tenant. From site design and entitlement all the way through construction documents and administration, we’re grateful for the opportunity to have brought this vision to life.

Kevin combines his hands-on field knowledge with technical expertise to guide projects from planning to completion.
