In moments of political threat, how we hold our bodies shapes how we feel—and how we feel shapes how we lead. Our new blog, Holding Ourselves Together: Embodiment as a Path to Resilience, shares how embodied leadership helps us move beyond fear and reactivity, allowing us to show up with clarity, connection, and strength. By checking in with our bodies, recognizing tension, and realigning with intention, we can shift from isolation to resilience. Read the full blog here: https://lnkd.in/gFEBmttp

  • Using emojis and not capitalizing hashtags are just a few of the things you can do to make your posts more accessible in 2025. #AccessibilityNow

As we welcome in the new year, now is the perfect time to start making your social media content accessible. Add alt text to images, memes and gifs. Caption your videos. They need to be readable, karaoke style captions aren’t the one. Make sure your videos are either audio led or audio described. Capitalise the first letter of each word in hashtags. If you really need to use more than one hashtag, put them at the end of your post or in the comments. Only share one link per post. Limit emojis to one or two per post, put them at the end of your copy, and don’t use them as bullet points. Avoid using fancy fonts and ASCII Art. Use plain language. If you aren’t doing so already, make 2025 the year you prioritise accessibility. That commitment should extend to everything you do, not just on social media. You don’t have to know everything. Take the time to learn. Happy New Year!

  • Regardless of the election results, 2025 will be a challenging year. The agenda to undermine progress and justice will continue to be a target. Join our first cohort of the Regenerating Liberation workshop series so that you can be ready, grounded, and resourced. #Project2025 https://lnkd.in/e_xhbmqr

Strategist and change midwife. I help teams carve a powerful path forward.

I’ve been concerned about the coordinated plan to dismantle our rights, democracy, and social and environmental protective measures by the Heritage Foundation’s #Project2025. Here’s an informative podcast on the plan and its impact on the social sector and those of us working for equity and justice.
