Looking back on #CSAT2024, it was once again an outstanding event that brought together hundreds of industry innovators, academic leaders, and government dignitaries from across the globe to share their knowledge, trends, and developments in the world of #coldspray technology. Across the two-day CSAT 2024 Hybrid Meeting, the stage welcomed 30 speakers with state-of-the-art presentations, 16 student posters on display, and a full exhibitor concourse that led to valuable networking among attendees.? Inducted into the Cold Spray Action Team Hall of Fame were cold spray pioneers, Neil Matthews AM of Titomic and Jack Lareau, formerly of Pacific Northwest National Laboratory. Two CSAT poster competition winners were awarded this year: Caroline Dowling from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and Prateek from University of Massachusetts Amherst. Congratulations to the winners! We are very pleased with the fantastic turn out and are looking forward to seeing 2025 Action Team Events!?

It was a privilege to attend and present a poster at CSAT/LSAAT 2024 showcasing "Cold Sprayed Super Capacitors for 3D Power Packaging Applications." Our research demonstrates the promising potential of cold spray technology in creating compact, large-area capacitors with higher capacitance density than traditional planar capacitors. This breakthrough has exciting implications in the fields of electronics and power packaging. The conference provided a valuable opportunity to connect with peers and experts in both industry and universities, offering a glimpse into my future as a materials engineer specializing in cold spray. As I prepare to graduate this year, I'm eager to contribute to advancing these technologies and explore future opportunities and collaborations in the field. I was very happy to see myself featured on the cover of the CSAT brochure, reflecting the exposure and inclusion I experienced as an emerging professional through this conference. I'm grateful for this opportunity and look forward to making meaningful contributions in this field.
