The right team is more than an advantage. It's a game-changer. At Coffman Engineers, we serve as both prime consultant and sub-consultant on projects large and small, including commercial, retail, institutional, government, industrial, and project/construction management. Incorporated in 1979, we have offices throughout the United States – serving clients locally as well as overseas. To meet client needs and to integrate our many disciplines, we can create teams comprised of civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, fire protection, process piping, instrumentation and controls, corrosion control engineering, project management, commissioning, and land survey services. This ability and our culture has made us a leader in the engineering and construction communities and has strengthened our reputation as being progressive, innovative, and a great place to work.

Our Los Angeles fire protection team is proud to have worked on this impactful project at City of Hope!
The new Hope Plaza Outpatient Center at the City of Hope harnesses nature to create a compassionate, patient-centric environment while delivering the highest standard of cancer care. Key planning considerations included minimizing patient anxiety by maximizing daylight and offering views of the nearby San Gabriel Mountains. The program consists of 131 infusion bays, 180 exam rooms, imaging rooms, phlebotomy and venous access device services, and laboratory, pharmacy and amenity areas. Hope Plaza also features an expansive park and an award-winning parking structure inspired by the campus' iconic Wishing Trees. The project was designed in collaboration with EwingCole.

Last week, our Honolulu team sponsored a special American Society of Civil Engineers Hawaii (ASCE) event. Part of our sponsorship provided an opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to see Cities of the Future. The film, produced in partnership with ASCE, features five young members working to solve the world’s most pressing challenges with inspiring solutions. It allows audiences to “step into the future” in a way that can be imagined through an engineering mindset.
