A human-first fertility ecosystem, striving to make egg freezing and third party reproduction more accessible for all.
关于我们
Cofertility is a human-first fertility ecosystem rewriting the egg freezing and egg donation experience. Our Freeze by Co platform enables women to freeze their eggs for free when they donate half of the eggs to a family that otherwise can’t conceive. For intended parents pursuing egg donation, our Family by Co platform serves as a more transparent, ethical egg donor matching platform. We are obsessed with improving the family-building journey — today or in the future — and are in an endless pursuit to make these experiences more positive.

At Cofertility, we believe that egg freezing and donation journeys should be as human-centered and compassionate as possible—and our team is a huge part of making that happen. Today, we’re highlighting one of the incredible people making this happen: Coco Searcy As a Clinical Operations Manager, Coco ensures that every member who comes to us feels supported, heard, and empowered on their egg freezing journey. From answering questions with care to creating a seamless and personalized cycle experience, she plays a crucial role in making the egg freezing and donation process more thoughtful and stress-free. ? What’s the most rewarding part of your role at Cofertility? "The most rewarding part is when a member talks to me after their cycle and shares that they learned something new about their body or felt comfortable coming to me with any questions or concerns—even if it’s about a hardship they faced during the process. When a member trusts me enough to share their experiences, whether positive or challenging, it means they feel truly supported and understood." ???What's one thing you wish more people knew about egg donation? "I wish people knew that they have control over how much or how little they share with the intended parents they match with. Disclosure is truly a spectrum, and there is a right match out there for both Split members and intended parents. Personally, I’ve loved having a disclosed match because it allowed me to build a meaningful connection with the intended parents. We share a common goal of ensuring their future child has the support and information they need, but we also maintain mutual respect for each other’s boundaries." ?? If you could give one piece of advice to someone just starting their family-building process, what would it be? "Don’t be afraid to ask questions—no question is too big or too small. You deserve to feel empowered and informed every step of the way. And if you’re someone who feels hesitant to speak up, lean on a trusted friend or family member who can advocate for you." Proud to see Cofertility mentioned in The Guardian's latest piece on the intersection of athletics and fertility! The article highlighted how more athletes are taking control of their reproductive future through egg freezing, a movement we’re proud to support through our Level the Playing Field initiative (leveltheplayingfield.co) and beyond. No woman should have to choose between her career and her ability to build a family on her own terms. Through our egg sharing programs, we’re committed to building solutions that give women more options, more autonomy, and more power over their reproductive futures. A new report from Center for Intimacy Justice reveals a troubling truth: educational content about women's reproductive health—including topics like menstrual health, menopause, and fertility—are being suppressed, rejected, or outright banned across major digital platforms like Google, Amazon, and TikTok. The real double standard? Women’s health content is disproportionately censored across these platforms, while men’s products and ads—like those for erectile dysfunction, for example—remain widely unregulated. This isn’t just an issue of content moderation, it’s systemic gender bias in healthcare access. ?? Why is scientifically accurate, educational content flagged as “sensitive” while other industries can advertise freely? ?? Why are women seeking information about their own bodies met with barriers instead of support when men are not? At Cofertility, we’re on a mission to make egg freezing and donation more ethical, accessible, and human-centered. A huge part of that is education, which helps empower people with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their reproductive future. But when big tech algorithms silence these conversations, people lose access to vital resources. Without visibility on major platforms, accessing reliable information and exploring reproductive options becomes even more challenging. Reports like the one from the Center for Intimacy Justice shed light on the systemic barriers people face in accessing critical healthcare education. Have you or your organization faced similar censorship challenges? Join the conversation and help advocate for change. Have you read the full Level the Playing Field report yet? ???? One stat that stuck with us: while 90% of participants worry about their future fertility, less than half have ever spoken to a medical professional about it. This isn’t just an athlete’s story—it’s a reality for so many women. As our Co-Founder & CEO Lauren Makler always says, the best time to freeze your eggs is often when you can least afford it and when you’re least likely to be thinking about it. That’s exactly why she started Cofertility—to give more women the power to take control of their reproductive futures on their own terms. Through #LevelThePlayingField, we set out to shed light on the fertility and family-building challenges athletes face. We believe that no woman should have to choose between her career and her fertility—and that includes athletes competing at the highest levels. If we can spark these conversations in sports, we can help change the game for women everywhere. ??
