Codina Partners is proud to share that UHealth has leased the future full northern wing of the north retail expansion at Downtown Doral. This expanded presence, in addition to the 150,000+ SF UHealth Doral Medical Center at Downtown Doral, shows the strong commitment UHealth has for bringing academic healthcare to the western part of Miami-Dade County. The new wing will feature the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, physical therapy, and other outpatient services. Construction is slated to begin in the coming months.

In this new role, he will oversee all aspects of development operations across every sector of Codina Partners’ expanding portfolio, which currently includes transformational projects like Downtown Doral, Regency Parc, and the former Sears site at Westland Mall.

South Florida's most advanced academic healthcare institution is now officially open in Downtown Doral, the 250-acre city center envisioned and developed by Codina Partners. UHealth Doral Medical Center will now bring state-of-the-art healthcare to the residents and visitors of Doral—helping to establish the City as a healthcare hub in addition to its reputation as an economic powerhouse. Mayor Danielle Levine-Cava and Miami-Dade County Commissioner Juan Carlos Bermudez shared the wonderful news of the commencement of the dedicated trolley lane that will connect Doral City Hall and Downtown Doral to the Palmetto/Medley Metrorail Station—enhancing Doral's connectivity to mass transit. Mayor of the City of Doral, Christi Fraga, also shared the incredible progress Doral has made, and the ever growing brightness of its future. The Downtown Doral Arts and Culture Foundation was started to help create more awareness of art and culture within the wider Doral community and beyond. In 2020, we brought Nutcracker In The Park to residents and visitors of the area during one of the darkest times in recent history, the COVID-19 pandemic. This comprehensive healthcare facility will bring state-of-the-art medical care, from primary care to surgery and cancer care, to the very core of Downtown Doral, as well as the wider Doral community and its neighbors. We're delighted to share that Codina Partners has received site plan approval for a new, mid-rise multi-family tower in Downtown Doral located at the intersection of NW 53rd Street and NW 52nd Terrace. Sevilla will consist of 412-units, and will be the first lifestyle center of its kind in the entire downtown district. Floor plans will range from 700 SF to 1,700 SF and offer between 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms. The addition of this unique lifestyle building will add much needed housing to the area as Doral continues to flourish as a center for living and commerce. Construction is slated to begin in the latter part of 2024, with delivery of the first phase of residences expected in Q2 2026.
