In a racist move that could reshape the future of American academia and scientific innovation, the House of Representatives recently passed H.R.1398: Protect America's Innovation and Economic Security from the CCP Act of 2024. Compared to the infamous "Chinese Exclusion Act" of the late 19th century, the newest legislation takes aim at Chinese researchers and academics. It perpetuates a false narrative that wrongly conflates Chinese descent with espionage. Its passage revives discriminatory policies, previously dismantled under the Biden administration, and sets a dangerous precedent. Israel has completely wiped out at least 1,140 Palestinian families from the civil registry. A further 3,463 families lost all but one member. Entire lineages - gone. This is US-Israeli genocide.

Israel just attacked Beirut with at least 10 simultaneous strikes. This comes after the IOF threatened 20 neighbourhoods with forced displacement - the largest yet. With US support and weapons, Israel is carpet bombing Beirut.
