I'm extremely excited to announce that I'll be joining BlackRock this summer as an intern on their Aladdin Engineering team in New York! Last Wednesday, as a workshop developer for Code for All QC, I had the amazing opportunity to host a Git/GitHub workshop, and I was thrilled to see 20+ students join in! I covered the fundamentals of Git and GitHub, along with essential concepts like branching, enabling students to collaborate effectively in team projects. It was great to see so much enthusiasm for version control, and I’m excited to host more workshops in the future!

?? I am beyond excited to announce that I will be joining Capital One as a Summer Intern! While I received my offer back in September, I wanted to take this moment to share my journey. The feeling of receiving that offer was amazing, and I want to help others experience that same joy. Been a little while since I’ve posted, but very happy to be here to thank everyone for coming to see Code for All QC at club day! While Justin Espinal and Eric Salazar worked very hard to get budget for our next Hack Knight (check out my recent reposts and https://hackknight.org/ ??), some board members and I held down the fort! Our next confirmed events are happening on Feb 18th and Feb 20th. Feb 18th is a general interest meeting, while Feb 20th is an informational session about CUNY Tech Prep where board members Ye Htut Maung, Sophia Yau, and Jonnathan Saavedra will be speakers. Again, a big thank you to both the board members that came to help out and all attendees at club day who chatted with us! We hope to see more new members at upcoming events.
