Join us as Coconut Grove welcomes the most wonderful time of the year with our annual #ChristmasTreeLighting Ceremony! On Sunday, December 1, at 6 p.m., Fuller Street will transform into a magical Winter Wonderland, hosted by the Coconut Grove BID. The evening will be filled with festive cheer, featuring live performances by a Barbershop Quartet, local bands, and circus acts for a lively atmosphere everyone can enjoy. Guests can snap photos with #SantaClaus and enjoy seasonal treats, including warm hot cocoa provided by local businesses. At 7 p.m., join the crowd to witness the grand lighting of the towering Christmas tree, officially ushering in the holiday season in Coconut Grove. Our Coconut Grove Business Improvement District team proudly joined forces with United Way Miami and Amazon to give back this holiday season. Together, we helped deliver over 1,000 Thanksgiving meal kits to low-income families and veterans across Miami-Dade. Each kit, prepared by over 100 volunteers, included all the Thanksgiving essentials plus a $20 gift card for a protein of their choice. A true community effort to make the holidays brighter for those in need!

Building a stronger, safer Coconut Grove together! Today’s Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day was a wonderful success, thanks to the support and spirit of our Grove families. This afternoon, the Coconut Grove Business Improvement District and the Miami Police Department joined forces to strengthen neighborhood safety in preparation for tomorrow’s Walk, Bike, and Roll to School Day! Led by Coconut Grove BID Executive Director Mark Burns and Commander @DanielKerr of the Miami Police Department, this collaboration reflects a shared commitment to safer streets for Coconut Grove’s families. From 7:00 to 9:00 am, students from public and private schools throughout Coconut Grove will walk, bike, and roll to school, united in this biannual event that promotes both community and active, safe commutes.
