We are excited to announce that Scott Winburn will be rejoining Coborn's, Inc. as Senior Director of Pricing Strategy, effective November 25th. In this role, Scott will be responsible for shaping pricing strategies to optimize profitability and market share through data-driven insights. Scott returns to Coborn's with a wealth of experience, having previously served as Senior Category Manager and Director of Center Store Merchandising & Pricing Strategy. He most recently held leadership roles at Rouses Markets and Alex Lee, Inc., where he implemented pricing strategies for over 650 independent retailers. In September, our Coborn’s, Cash Wise, and Marketplace Foods locations proudly raised $68,672.98 for Folds of Honor through our Round-Up campaign! These funds directly support college scholarships for the children and spouses of fallen members of our Military and First Responder families who have made the ultimate sacrifice. What makes this even more special is that these scholarships are awarded within the communities where we live and work. Congrats to Team Coborn’s for completing the expansion of our Jamestown, ND Cash Wise store. We added a Caribou Coffee, Expanded Liquor Store, ACE Hardware and a new Fuel Center, while also refreshing the grocery store with new products. The community response has been incredible. Sarah O'Heron and team are doing a fantastic job running this campus and is driving major growth with our new offering.

This award celebrates our efforts to make family meals more accessible, affordable, and meaningful through our “Family Meals on a Budget” promotion during September Family Meals Month. With 66 stores participating, we joined forces with MN Pork to encourage families to enjoy shared meals together—a habit shown to boost connection and well-being. Our approach aimed to overcome barriers to family meals by providing weekly budget-friendly recipes, in-store displays, eCommerce integration, social media promotion, and email marketing. We are excited to announce that Joshua Wing has joined Coborn's, Inc. as the Vice President of IT, effective November 4. In this key role, Josh will lead our IT department's daily operations and drive the implementation of innovative business solutions that align with our strategic goals. With over 20 years of experience in the retail sector, Josh brings a wealth of knowledge in merchandising, e-commerce, inventory management, and supply chain systems. Previously, he served as Senior Director of Product Management at Best Buy, where he modernized inventory and supply chain technology capabilities. His tenure at Target Corporation included leading the adoption of new tools and contributing to multiple patents in inventory systems. Josh holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas. We are confident that his extensive background and leadership will enhance our IT capabilities and foster collaboration across the organization.
