Formerly the President & CEO of Piedmont Door Solutions, Chris was the first leader to trust us with his business. A year later, Chris has doubled down on what we’re building together. We are grateful for his strategic foresight and the meaningful relationships he’s built throughout his career in the industry. Chris has always believed in putting people first, and as a result, Chris’ transition creates an opportunity for Piedmont’s ever-capable leadership team to take the reins for this next chapter. Today we're so excited to welcome Digi Security Systems into Cobalt! Digi represents Cobalt's seventh acquisition, and our first in Oklahoma/Texas. Based in Tulsa, Digi provides security services to a wide range of commercial and municipal clients throughout Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Texas with a particularly strong track record supporting schools and universities. Last but not least, our most recent addition to Cobalt is Industrial Door Company (IDC) out of Sacramento, CA. IDC was founded by Sy Fields and his son, Jerry Fields, in 1985. Jerry's been growing the business ever since, and after nearly 40 years, began thinking about his and IDC's next chapter. On why he chose Cobalt as the long-term home for his business, Jerry said, "We selected Cobalt because we believe strongly that their values align with ours, especially regarding the well-being of our team. Next up on the list is Homeland Safety Systems (HSS) out of Shreveport, LA. HSS was founded by Tony Marquis in 2003. Tony and his team are incredibly passionate about what they do, and they do it exceptionally well. When asked why he chose Cobalt, Tony said "Finding the right partner for HSS was very important for me, since the decision has consequences on my work family, our loyal customers and products developed through years of hard work and ongoing learning/education.
