Tropical Storm Francine is projected to make landfall in Louisiana on Wednesday, September 11. As it continues to move over the Gulf, it is expected to strengthen into a Category 1 Hurricane and affect the Coastal Mississippi region, resulting in inclement weather and storm surge. As the tourism organization charged with promoting South Mississippi as a tourism and convention destination, we encourage both residents and visitors to our region to remain vigilant and informed.
