Today, we’re proud to highlight The Marian Cheek Jackson Center for Saving and Making History (MCJC) and their work preserving the historically Black neighborhoods of Chapel Hill and Carrboro, known as Northside. ?? MCJC is tackling housing justice, advocacy, and home preservation through the Northside Neighborhood Initiative (NNI). Funding from our Coastal Foundation will support these vital efforts to protect and revitalize this cherished community. ??
