"While my husband and I navigate some really bad luck, the Farm is there for us. The produce nourishes us not only because it comes from rich soil, but also because it connects us to our local land. It literally keeps us grounded and supports our lives." It's been another impactful quarter, and testimonials like this one remind us that it's not just the what - but also the how - that matters so much. This year, we will grow 80,000 pounds of food for 45,000 people. The vast majority is donated to those in need. In the last quarter alone, because the need for food access was so high, 93% of our harvests were donated. But we don't just grow great food. We do it in a way that prioritizes soil health, and therefore the health of our ecosystem. We reverse the impacts of climate change by sequestering carbon, and we invite youth into the conversation so they can understand how their actions contribute to a thriving planet. More than half of the students and campers who visit the Farm come on scholarship. Our Jewish life programs continues to provide meaning and offer hope during a tumultuous time in both our geopolitics and climate. Our value "Arevut" teaches we are responsible for one another. The Farm is committed to sharing food, education, time, and space to meet each of these needs. We need your help to continue this important work. Dig into our most recent report and help us cultivate the remaining $200,000 this summer to achieve our greatest impact.
