🌟 Thank You, New Hanover County ABC Board! 🌟 We are incredibly grateful to the New Hanover County ABC Board for awarding Coastal Horizons $90,000 through the FY2025 Community Health & Wellness Grant to support our Healthy Families Program! This funding will help us provide family counseling that strengthens prevention protective factors in the home, reducing the likelihood of early substance use by children. As part of this initiative, local merchants will play a key role in preventing underage drinking—a vital step in fostering healthier communities. The New Hanover County ABC Board awarded a total of $725,000 to eight nonprofits committed to prevention, education, treatment, and research for alcohol and substance abuse in New Hanover County. Exciting News: Announcing the Grand Opening of Benevolent Bites Food Pantry! We are thrilled to share that Coastal Horizons has officially opened Benevolent Bites, a food pantry dedicated to helping those in need of immediate food assistance. Located at 613 Shipyard Blvd., Suite 100, Wilmington, NC, Benevolent Bites is here to serve our community and clients facing food insecurities. While we currently do not have cold storage or meat, we offer a variety of non-perishable items to meet immediate needs. The pantry is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
