#CEdiving performs a variety of scanning, sonar, and other technical services including submerged cable location. Our team of technicians and divers work together to locate, mark, and plot submerged cables in advance of construction or utility work.

#CEdiving performs ASDSO-compliant dam inspections; this month, we inspected the substructure components at a Camden County, NJ dam and prepared a report including as-built sketches. Our team is fully equipped to provide ADCI-compliant decontamination procedures to ensure no transfer of unwanted biological material or marine life.

Our work in beautiful Maryland continues with more QAQC assignments at the USNA. In addition to our full-time QAQC Structural Inspector, our dive team performs weekly surveillance dives to monitor ongoing work. We are currently monitoring the progress of steel reinforcement at the quay wall and a variety of piers.

#CEdiving regularly performs underwater bridge, dam, and structural inspections. We recently returned to lovely Sparta, NJ to determine the condition of 64 steel H-piles. Our scope also included taking soundings and developing a channel bottom profile. All underwater work is performed by one of our ADCI-certified commercial dive teams, and all report preparation is overseen by our in-house engineering staff, all of whom are certified commercial divers.

In addition to our dive teams, #CEdiving provides confined space inspections, penetration dives, and various services to assist with dam projects. This lovely Galeton, PA project has us removing and reinstalling appurtenances to assist with obtaining dimensions for a bulkhead replacement. Work includes lift bags, rigging, and equipment needed to provide detailed specifications.

As summer winds down, #CEdiving is still busy at work performing underwater QA/QC inspections and providing land-based structural QA/QC inspections. This Annapolis project is one of multiple locations where we are providing OSHA, ADCI, and EM-385 compliant dive teams. We offer on-site PE's, underwater PE's, and highly experienced technical divers to ensure projects are completed to specification.
