Good RevOps is NOT CRM Admin 2.0. A lot of people think they’re the same thing. They’re not. A CRM admin is an expensive necessity. They keep the system running. They reset passwords, update fields, fix bugs, and make sure the database doesn’t fall apart. CFOs and CEOs often resent the cost because it feels like paying extra just to keep software functional. It’s like buying a car and then being told you need to hire a full-time mechanic just to drive it. RevOps, on the other hand, is an investment that pays off. It’s not about keeping the system alive—it’s about using it to drive revenue. ? A CRM admin waits for tickets. A RevOps leader proactively finds ways to optimize conversion rates. ?
