We are so thankful for the volunteers that allow COIN to positively impact the community. A big thanks to Justin Heriberto Rojas who has been volunteering with COIN through our newsletters and minutes. We appreciate our presenters Karla Munive Lima and Consul Maki Teramoto for their presentation covering the resources the Mexican Consulate in Indianapolis offers. We are also very thankful for Claire Black from Indiana Legal Services who provided us with a informative legal update.
As a volunteer with Coalition for Our Immigrant Neighbors [COIN], we most recently featured members from the Mexican Consulate in Indianapolis for our monthly meeting. The Mexican Consulate offers a wide range of resources, which are critical in supporting and uplifting the Mexican/ Mexican-American community in the Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky region. I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to Consul General Maki Teramoto and Consul Karla Munive Lima for their time and valuable information. For those who couldn’t attend, I’ve attached the presentation below. Feel free to share with your network!
