"Nursegrid ate with the recap." Yes, we liked making the the NurseGrid by HealthStream end of year recap, sure. But the nurses we made it for LOVED it. Some of our other favorite reviews? "Aww, thanks Nursegrid for being so wholesome." "Thanks for reminding me I have no life lol." "2024 Nursegrid wrapped is high-key triggering lol, but mama we made it." We love you, very honest nurses. ??

We build digital products to solve problems for businesses, brands, and brave souls with great ideas.
关于我们
Coalesce is an NYC-based creative agency that solves problems for businesses, brands, and brave souls with great ideas. We operate as one cohesive unit, but we practice in three distinct studios: Brand, Product, and Engineering. Whether your project needs one studio or all three, we bring the collective talent of our team to each challenge. The brand studio creates artful distinction (think: workshops, brand books, visual identity, and logo development). The product studio brings big ideas to life (think: roadmaps UX audits, UX research, personas, user journeys, UI design, and high-fidelity screens) And the engineering studio builds products that stand the test of time (think: custom software, iOS and Android development, web services, API development, and cyber security). Ready to build something for your business but not sure how to explain the blueprints? That’s our speciality. We can't wait to work with you.

Making year-end recaps for?NurseGrid by HealthStream?is something we've had the pleasure to do two years in a row. Here's a peek inside the Webflow experience. Featuring: Personalized data culled from their scheduling app displayed in tasty little bites of content including animal-equipment badges, achievement stickers, full-moon animations, and a new "patients helped" calculator.

Our Coalesce TOY (Top of Year) is for the big picture. It's for tough questions. It's for the occasional existential crisis and, thankfully, post-brainstorm margaritas. Regardless, it reminds us: When you’re all in on the same big adventure, different perspectives aren’t obstacles—they’re the secret sauce. Hope you had a big, messy, exciting TOY with your team recently. (If you walked away thinking about how much longer your to-do list got, crawl on over here and let's help you launch those things by MOY.)

Take a peek at the Creatives & Coffee event we co-hosted this week with The Creative Factor. Richard Turley came and shared tips for how to protect ideas as they march their way down the dark hallway of corporate approvals. We drank the coffee (and the kool-aid), crumbled the croissants, and welcomed many new faces to the club. If you want to start your morning stressed and alone, that's fine. But kick-starting it with 15 ultra-creative folks you don't really know is way better. Thank you to our sponsor, Adobe. We have a quite a lineup of future Creatives & Coffees scheduled for the spring--whether you want your name on the list or your logo on the reel, reach out.

2024 was a wild ride, but hey—that’s what we’re here for. Our clients and partners brought us some of their toughest challenges, and we loved every minute of solving them. Thank you for trusting us to handle the heat. Here’s to more creativity, fewer fires, and plenty of wins in 2025. —The Coalesce Flock (Yes, we printed this beautiful custom illustration by Barbara and mailed it to some very lucky people.)

We're riding high after designing, building, and launching a highly-anticipated and customer-beloved year-end recap campaign for 600k+ users under the wire before the holidays. But getting an email from their team that says they are printing and framing one of our unused (and "bit-too-scandalous for their brand") assets as a gift to the CTO? Priceless. Check out what we built--each one pulls in custom data for individual users. (You know, like that Spotify thing everyone was on the fence about earlier this year):?recap.nursegrid.com

We love it when we can combine our love of food, design, and and first-person storytelling to make stuff like this latest piece from The Creative Factor. A true collaboration from the initial text from Tucker Margulies to the reporting from Matt McCue, to the Nashville connections from Jordan M., and the mission directives from Rodney Staton Piercey and Alex Severino to the graphic direction from Barbara Cadorna -- finally to the implementation from Justin Rancourt. (And hey, Naomi Piercey is writing this post, so there's that.) Read it. Share it. And then tell us about the next great story we should make a big deal about online.

So tickled to show off our designer?Barbara Cadorna's brand identity work for the?Chelsea Film Festival?from last month! ????

Win by doing less. No one wants to wait and most sites are overloaded with a host of poorly performing JS, CSS and trackers. You can improve page load speed by optimizing image sizes, limiting the use of external scripts and HTTP requests, minifying CSS and Java files and using your third-party services wisely. Lowering bounce rate is the goal. According to Think with Google, Bounce rates skyrocket by 123% if page loading time becomes more than one second. Worried about your load times?
