Coaching Managers of a ‘Floating Bomb’ ?? Another day, another dollar. ?? Or in this case, another billion.?? Shell Oil. Biggest company in the world. You'd think they'd have their sh*t together, right? Wrong. Their offshore oil-platforms were a mess. Best tech, unlimited cash, smartest people... Still a catastrophe. Why? No creativity. No breakthroughs. No transformation. (No coaching.) We roll in and start coaching these guys. The engineers. The managers. All of them working 14-day shifts on a “floating bomb” in the Gulf of Mexico. Everything changes. I couldn’t believe it myself. Shell Oil needed US? ?? I’d never even repaired a lawn mower.
