  • A large number of people struggle with the “ideal” diet or exercise routine when it comes to creating a long-lasting fitness routine, but the true secret to success and consistency is to build habits that will last.? Research indicates that it takes an average of 66 days to build and establish a new habit; but this is dependent on the level of complexity and difficulty of the habit. If you were to follow a consistent exercise routine for 90 days it will become habitual, whereas something like drinking a glass of water when you wake up may just take a couple weeks.? In this article I will explain the science of habit formation, the importance of consistency, and how minor adjustments can result in long-term fitness success in my most recent piece.   • If you are eating the “typical” Indian diet - you are likely not eating enough protein. Although Indian cuisine is varied and tasty, it frequently lacks protein. High protein diets have been linked to a lower risk of diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and various other health concerns. However, a lot of Indian diets lack ingredients high in protein and instead rely mostly on carbohydrates and fats.
