?? 2025 Business Technology Group ProdHacks ?? We're excited to share the success of our second Product Management Hackathon hosted by CMU Business Technology Group! The number of signups doubled from last year and we can’t wait to see how this momentum continues to grow. First, huge congratulations to the 1st place team, Google Campus (Catherine Cho, Jamie Jane Figueroa Weston, Sanika Jain, Sheri Zhang), for their outstanding achievement! Their solution stems from an extension of Google Maps that optimizes pedestrian navigation on college campuses by integrating real-time foot traffic data, offering accessibility-friendly routes, and reducing congestion for students, faculty, and visitors. Second, this was our first year introducing an award track by WealthMeUp, which focused on developing an AI-driven solution that transforms financial education into a personalized and gamified experience. Congratulations to team GameChangers (Suhail Khan, Ansh Pandey, Ankit Shukla) for placing first! Their solution focused on developing an AI-driven platform that personalizes financial education through LLMs, gamification, and intelligent adaptation to make learning engaging while promoting strong financial habits. We're also thankful for Microsoft and WealthMeUp for sponsoring our event, our judges (Nisha Prakash and Maya B.) for judging our incredible teams, and our lovely mentors for taking the time out of their workday to provide feedback to our contestants! Lastly, we wanted to give a huge shoutout to everyone who participated, our lead organizers (Aditya Mittal, Saanika Chauk, Kaylin Yeoh, Sohum Walavalkar), as well as the rest of our BTG board; this event wouldn't have been possible without them.
