CMT’s Indianapolis team recently visited the Traders Point Lake Spillway project to witness a major milestone — the final concrete placement for Spillway No. 1 Floor Slab. CMT is leading the design, permitting, and hydraulic modeling for this two-phased project to restore and improve the safety of the 10-acre, 100-year-old spillway. The first phase stabilized the spillway, while the second phase will replace it and enhance the earthen dam. CMT is proud to lead this vital improvement project, helping homeowners rediscover their lake's safety and natural beauty.

We are pleased to announce that CMT’s Aviation Team has received two Excellence in Paving awards for projects completed in 2024, presented by the Missouri/Kansas Chapter of the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) and the Missouri Department of Transportation. The Perryville Regional Airport Runway 2-20 Rehabilitation project in Perryville, MO, was rated the Best Portland Cement Concrete Overlay – Airports Project and is a testament to the high-quality engineering and collaboration that went into delivering long-lasting infrastructure for the region. Additionally, CMT — in partnership with Kwame Building Group and HR Green, Inc. — was recognized for the St. Louis Lambert International Airport Runway 12R-30L Phase 2 project and awarded Best Commercial Service & Military Airport Project. CMT is grateful to receive the ACEC Ohio 2025 Engineering Excellence Honor Award for the Taxiway C Extension project at Port Bucyrus-Crawford County Airport in Bucyrus, OH. To achieve the client’s safety enhancement goals, CMT extended the main runway’s parallel taxiway, allowing departing aircraft to taxi to a runway end on the parallel taxiway rather than on the active runway surface, reducing taxiing times and improving overall airport efficiency.
