??February is #HeartMonth, a time to raise awareness about heart health and recognize the impact donor dollars have on children and families. At Penn State Health Children's Hospital, generous contributions from partners like Children’s Miracle Network don’t just fund equipment and programs – they save lives and provide hope to families. Just ask Miracle Child Henry’s family. At two years old, Henry was diagnosed with coarctation of the aorta. Thanks to donor support, Henry’s surgical team had access to leading-edge 3D printing technology, allowing them to create an exact replica of his heart before his procedure. ??Read more: https://lnkd.in/dAHHdqkb...

Thank you to Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company for allowing CMN Extra Life to be a part of their annual Day of Service! Their employees got to give back in creative and meaningful ways: making cards for veterans, assembling Valentine's Day kits for patients at Penn State Health Children's Hospital, and Gaming for Good through CMN Extra Life. ?? From cornhole and tabletop games to Wii bowling, employees celebrated the many ways to support the community while having a blast. To top it off, Hershey Entertainment & Resorts generously donated $1,750 to CMN Extra Life on behalf of their employees, amplifying the impact of the day. ??Meet our 2025 Miracle Champion Gannon! Born 12 weeks early, Gannon has faced incredible medical challenges, spending 225 days in the hospital with fragile bones, a feeding tube, ventilator, and lung complications. But none of this has stopped him. From comforting other kids during doctor's visits to sharing his journey through his own book (with proceeds benefitting CMN at Penn State Health Children's Hospital!), he's a champion in every way.
