Hurricane Milton reached Category 5 strength before weakening slightly and making landfall as a major Category 3 hurricane on Florida’s Gulf Coast near Siesta Key. As it moved inland, the storm gradually lost strength but continued to produce powerful winds and torrential rainfall. By the time it reached Daytona Beach, it had weakened to a Category 1 hurricane, yet its impact remained severe. The resort remained at full occupancy when the hurricane struck, requiring careful coordination to minimize disruptions. Progress Update: Winter Building Challenges Just wanted to give a quick shoutout to our awesome CRC construction team for pushing through the winter challenges on our Multifamily project in Colorado. Despite the entire roof and part of the third floor being burned off and 36 units affected by fire, water, smoke, and soot, we've made some great progress. New Framing, roof structure and roofing is looking solid! Pre-rock work is moving along nicely, setting us up for the next steps. MEP Systems: Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations are in full swing, getting everything ready for inspections, insulation and drywall work. Big thanks to the CRC team for all your hard work. We appreciate everything you're doing to get this building back in shape!
