Our CMI2 Adaptive Experimentation Facility (AEF) at Fort Andrew team welcomed a Black Hawk crew from the West Virginia National Guard earlier this week for an air operations test flight aimed at #prepartion and #readiness for future events. CMI2's Fort Andrew is a unique experimentation and training facility that supports various components of the U.S. military and first responders in rural Clay County, West Virginia. The crew proudly added their patch to our display board, and Walter (Wally) Hatfield and Adam Landers presented each member of the crew with AEF Challenge Coins. It was also an exciting day for our AEF intern team, which consists of Clay County High School students and recent graduates. The interns enjoyed a close-up experience with the legendary helicopter, learning about safety requirements, mission readiness, and the teamwork necessary for successful mission completion. #innovationinthedirt ?? - U.S. Army National Guard photos by Edwin L.
