It was great to see all of these great groups come together for Patient Safety! There's amazing work happening in Utah and we're thrilled to play a role in it. And thanks to the team at #PatientSafetyTechnologyChallenge for introducing us to Mike Eisenberg and making this screening happen.
Shout out to everyone who made it to our "The Pitch: Patient Safety's Next Generation" Film Screening with Center for Medical Innovation - University of Utah. Many thanks to our lovely panelists Deborah Sax, Iona Thraen, John Poelman, Mike Woodruff MD for sharing their experiences and thoughtful conversation, and to The Shop and CMI for hosting! The film presses us to consider how we can innovate and incorporate new technologies to the benefit of our healthcare system, with a focus on reducing patient harm. How we can do so while continuing to elevate the patient-provider relationship is a question for all of us to work on together to answer. We are happy to help continue this conversation here in Utah, and collaborate with experts who have dedicated their careers to making a safer world for patients!
